I was a principal right here in St. Johns County at Allen D. Nease High School for over 4 years. I have invested hours in before and after-school activities to ensure your students get an "A+" education.

For over 9 years, I was responsible for making sure teachers knew what to teach and had the training and resources they needed. St. Johns is rated #1 in public schools largely because of the success of our teachers and their investment in our children.

My top priority is for students to get a great education in a safe environment, and I will support local first responders to make sure they have the resources they need to protect students. I also have experience partnering with the Department of Homeland Security on the National Incident Management System's active shooter scenarios and more.

As a principal, I have always been a good steward of taxpayer money, and ensuring your child is taught the basics of Math, Science, History, and English. I will also ensure that your students have resources to be prepared for college, as well as vocational and technical programs. I will fight to cut wasteful spending, balance the budget, and put your family first. I understand that teacher pay is an important component of our budget process. As your elected Commissioner for Port, Waterways and Beaches Group 1, I have continued to increase public beach access, family activities, and safety!
